A store owner from Pococí is recovering in the hospital after an argument over a $2 worth of bread ended with him nearly getting his arm blown off by a shotgun. The incident, which occurred this past Sunday, began when a woman who lived two blocks away asked for a refund on two loaves of bread she had purchased earlier in the day because she didn’t like the flavor.
Although at first the owner had refused to refund the money due to the stores policy on baked goods, he eventually returned the money which did little to calm angry housewife who ran home to fetch her husband to teach the bread hustlers a lesson.
